I am really hoping to see a lot of the people I have told about this event at the event. I have taped the flyers to the windows of as many 5 town bars and restaurants(I guess it was okay since they are still on the windows {yes, I checked} as I could.

I plan on spending at least $100.00 for these young children. I am told that besides toys, they also need blankets, onesies and other comfort items (maybe socks, pajamas etc.). Use your imagination, what would you want or need if you were a sick child or what would you wish you could afford to get for your sick child if you were their parents?

Please be generous even if you can't attend. Personally, I will be driving since I don't own a motorcyle. There will probably be a police escort for this event (necessary for safety) due to the number of motorcycles. Of course, cages (motor vehicles) will follow behind.

I feel that this will be an event worthy of photographs. Please feel free to take pictures and e-mail them to RJ for posting in a follow up blog.

Thank you in advance for your participation and/or generousity. Also thank "1762 Broadway Lounge", "Mother Kelly's", "The Willow Tavern", "Sidestreet", and Bridey O's for letting us use their window space.

Okay, Breezy's event is this weekend so please go buy some educational toys or clothing/blankets etc. and either come for the run or drop off your donations at Breezy's house (directions are posted).
If you can't make the run then I'm sure he would appreciate your attendance at "St. Stephens" afterwards.
Do your good deed for the week/month/year and help those that are less fortunate than yourselves. If you have a heart, if you are a spiritual person, a person who believes in a higher power or even someone who believes in Karma, please help. It will make you feel good and you'll be a better person for it.
Hoping for a successful turnout.
Thank you in advance......

Even though this event was a success, I would have loved to hear comments from other people beforehand.
Breezy did an excellent job with the organization, promotion, traffic control and donations to St. Mary's Hospital for the kids. They seemed to enjoy themselves too.
The after event at "St. Stephens", to benefit another family in need, the Esposito Family, who lost a son, brother, husband and father (and not to mention the many friends who will miss him), was also successful. Although I left early (before I was DWI worthy), I learned that everyone had a nice time and donations were generous.
I'm sure Breezy appreciated everyones time and effort for the Toy Run and Pig Roast. Let's get it together for next years run and start collecting as many toys and clothing that we can, maybe in the beginning of the upcoming year. I'd like to see more motorcycles and more donations for these kids.
I think they liked the fact that you all came out to visit them, let them get close to your bikes and some of you even let the kids feel what it's like to rev up a bike and not a motorized wheelchair.
Props to all of you...very good form. Be proud of your good deeds, they were appreciated.
