Big NY Sports Day

With kickoff just over an hour away, fans are beginning to gather at their favorite watering holes! I will be watching the game with a couple of old friends at a RVC bar. Being a realistic Jet fan, I see bad things for Chad today. The Giants really crushed the Eagles on defense last week, with Umenyiora earning defensive player of the week honors for his SIX sacks of Donovan McNabb. Gang Green's "O" line is already suspect, making recently hobbled Chad a sitting duck. Based upon vulnerability to injury, Chad may get pretty banged up today. If they are to succeed, Jets RB Jones will need to have a breakout game, something he hasn't done thus far with the Jets.

Of course, the other big game today features the Yanks and Indians. The Yanks, down 2-0 in a best of 5 series have their work cut out for them. They need to take 3 straight, which means they must have the Indians pitching ace Sabathier in Game 5, if it goes that far.
